Researchers should present their results honestly and without fabrication, falsification or inappropriate data manipulation. A manuscript should contain sufficient detail and references to permit others to replicate the work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable. Manuscripts should follow the submission guidelines of the journal.

Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that they have written entirely original work. The manuscript should not be submitted concurrently to more than one publication unless the editors have agreed to co- publication. Relevant previous work and publications, both by other researchers and the authors’ own, should be properly acknowledged and referenced. The primary literature should be cited where possible. Original wording taken directly from publications by other researchers should appear in quotation marks with the appropriate citations.

Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publications: The author should not, in general, submit the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently. It is also expected that the author will not publish redundant manuscripts or manuscripts describing the same research in more than one journal. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable. Multiple publications arising from a single research project should be clearly identified as such and the primary publication should be referenced

Acknowledgment of Sources: Authors should acknowledge all sources of data used in the research and cite publications that have been influential in determining the nature of the reported work. Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given.

Authorship of the Paper: The authorship of research publications should accurately reflect individuals’ contributions to the work and its reporting. Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to conception, design, execution or interpretation of the reported study. Others who have made significant contributions must be listed as co-authors. In cases where major contributors are listed as authors while those who made less substantial, or purely technical, contributions to the research or to the publication are listed in an acknowledgment section. Authors also ensure that all the authors have seen and agreed to the submitted version of the manuscript and their inclusion of names as co-authors.

Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: All authors should clearly disclose in their manuscript any financial or other substantive conflicts of interest that might be construed to influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All sources of financial support for the project should be disclosed.

Fundamental Errors in Published Works: If the author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in the submitted manuscript, then the author should promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.

Hazards and Human or Animal Subjects: The author should clearly identify in the manuscript if the work involves chemicals, procedures or equipment that have any unusual hazards inherent in their use.

Duties of Reviewers

Confidentiality: Information regarding manuscripts submitted by authors should be kept confidential and be treated as privileged information. They must not be shown to or discussed with others except as authorized by the editor.

Acknowledgment of Sources: Reviewers must ensure that authors have acknowledged all sources of data used in the research. Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the authors. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by the relevant citation. The reviewers should notify the journal immediately if they come across any irregularities, have concerns about ethical aspects of the work, are aware of substantial similarity between the manuscript and a concurrent submission to another journal or a published article, or suspect that misconduct may have occurred during either the research or the writing and submission of the manuscript; reviewers should, however, keep their concerns confidential and not personally investigate further unless the journal asks for further information or advice.

Standards of Objectivity: Review of submitted manuscripts must be done objectively and the reviewers should express their views clearly with supporting arguments. The reviewers should follow journals’ instructions on the specific feedback that is required of them and unless there are good reasons not to. The reviewers should be constructive in their reviews and provide feedback that will help the authors to improve their manuscript. The reviewer should make clear which suggested additional investigations are essential to support claims made in the manuscript under consideration and which will just strengthen or extend the work

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest: Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers. The methods for collecting information in this study are library studies and field research. A questionnaire was used to collect the data needed to determine the relationship between the variables of the research. This questionnaire contains 38 questions. The direction of the current research is applied. The statistical population of this study consists of managers and experts who are familiar with the SCM system and ERP. Number of statistical society is 210. The sampling method is simple in this research. The sample size is 136 people. Also, among the distributed questionnaires, reliability of Cronbach's alpha is evaluated and its value is more than 70%. Therefore, it confirms reliability. And formal validity has been used to determine the validity of the questionnaire, which is confirmed by the fact that the score of the impact is greater than 1.5. In the present study, one variable analysis was used for central indicators, dispersion and deviation from symmetry, and a general picture of the society was obtained. Also, two variables were analyzed to test the hypotheses; to measure the correlation coefficient between variables using structural equations, SPSS software was used. Finally, multivariate analysis was used with statistical techniques related to the SPLS structural equations to determine the effects of independent variables on the dependent variables of the research to determine the structural relationships between the variables. The results of the test of research hypotheses indicate that: 1. SCM practices have a positive impact on the competitive advantage of the MAMMUT Group. 2. SCM practices have a positive impact on the performance of the MAMMUT Group. 3. ERP system has a positive impact on the performance of the MAMMUT Group. 4. The ERP system has a positive impact on MAMMUT's competitive advantage. 5. The competitive advantage has a positive impact on the performance of the MAMMUT Group. 6. The ERP system has a positive impact on SCM of MAMMUT Group. The above results indicate that the system of ERP and SCM has an impact on the competitive advantage and corporate performance of MAMMUT Group.
Mehdi Ajalli Delaram Jafargholi Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Business Data Science Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2023-04-01 2023-04-01 2 01 5 18 The Effect of Sales Growth Rate, Inventory Turnover Rate and Growth Opportunities on Profitability http://jbdsr.com/index.php/home/article/view/9
The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of sales growth rate, inventory turnover ratio and growth opportunities on company profitability (return on assets, net profit margin, and return on equity) in manufacturing companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange. To achieve this goal, the financial information of a sample of 171 companies admitted to the Tehran Stock Exchange between 2014 and 2022 were selected and analyzed by systematic elimination method. Multiple regression was used to analyze the data. The findings of this research show that the sales growth rate has a positive and significant relationship with the profitability of the company. Growth opportunities in the return on assets and net profit margin models do not have a significant relationship with the company's profitability, but in the return on equity model, they have a positive and significant relationship with the company's profitability. Inventory turnover also has an inverse and significant relationship with company profitability in all three profitability models.
Hamidreza Asadifard Meghdad Amiri Tamaie Mohammad Dalvand Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Business Data Science Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2023-04-01 2023-04-01 2 01 19 27 The Disadvantages of International Rules and Guidelines for Banks in Emerging Countries: A Case Study of Iran http://jbdsr.com/index.php/home/article/view/10
This paper examines the disadvantages of international rules and guidelines for banks in emerging countries, with a specific focus on Iran. The Basel guidelines are the most well-known international banking regulations, but their implementation in emerging countries can create challenges for banks. Higher compliance costs, reduced access to credit, increased competition, difficulty in complying with complex regulations, limited relevance to local conditions, limits on innovative financing, stricter capital requirements, higher costs of borrowing, and increased regulatory burden are some of the challenges that banks in emerging countries face due to international regulations. The paper presents case studies from Iran to illustrate these challenges. The paper also offers possible solutions for banks in emerging countries, including the establishment of local regulations, the development of technology, and increased collaboration between local and international banks. By understanding the disadvantages of international rules and guidelines for banks in emerging countries and identifying possible solutions, policymakers and banking executives can work together to create more effective regulations that support economic growth and financial stability in these countries.
Mohammad Mahdi Davoudi Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Business Data Science Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2023-04-01 2023-04-01 2 01 28 34 Business Intelligence on Agile Natural Gas Supply Chain http://jbdsr.com/index.php/home/article/view/7
The offshore oil and gas upstream supply chain operations are part of a complex system with many stakeholders and intricate relationships. Traditionally, these operations are managed manually, which leads to inefficiencies. Despite the innovative and engineering-orientated approaches adopted in other technical operations of the industry, the supply chain activities remain unchanged, relying heavily on legacy systems. This study aimed to examine the effect of integrating Business Intelligence (BI) into the Natural Gas (NG) supply chain agility, within the Iranian Oil, Gas & Petrochemical sector. Based on the resource-based view of the firm, this study developed and examined a research model, to achieve its goal. The impact of three dimensions of BI including managerial, technical, and cultural competencies was examined. This study contributes to the literature on the role of BI in promoting supply chain agility, from the perspective of a developing country. The findings of this study are expected to help organizations' administrations in making better decisions regarding employing BI to achieve an agile supply chain.
Reza Mohammadi Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Business Data Science Research https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 2023-04-01 2023-04-01 2 01 35 40 The Application of Grounded Theory in Data Science Research http://jbdsr.com/index.php/home/article/view/11
Grounded theory is a research methodology that is used in data science to uncover patterns or relationships among the data.
